PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package with buffer function, which is capable of reducing cost through effective utilization of a space in the package and simplification of a packaging work. SOLUTION: The package with the buffer function includes a pair of flat portions 1 arranged to be oppositely faced to each other and hold an item 10 by holding it from both sides, wherein at least one of both these flat portions has flexibility capable of dampening external shock. At least one of both flat portions may have a protrusion 2 protruded inward from the inner surface, formed along the outer periphery of a portion 11 for holding an item by both flat portions 1 and to set a position of the item 10 in a planar direction where a cross sectional region related to the inside of both the flat portions 1 is divided into two segments.
