PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furrow opening blade of a paddy field furrow opener causing little deposition of mud of a paddy field on the furrow opening blade to prevent the weight increase. SOLUTION: The furrow opening blade 20 of a paddy field furrow opener for forming a nearly V-shaped furrow on a paddy field is provided with right and left side plates 21 to form the right and left faces of the furrow and a bottom plate 23 to form the bottom of the furrow, and an opening is formed above the right and left side plates 21.
