INDUCTIVE ROTARY JOINT

An inductive rotary joint for the non-contacting transmission of electric energy between a stationary and a rotating part comprises a load power generator for producing an alternating voltage or an alternating current which supplies a load with energy by means of a rotary power transformer. A measuring device is used to determine an electrical characteristic variable on the primary side of the power transformer and the state of a second electrical characteristic variable is approximated to the load by means of a functional unit. This approximated value is then used to adjust the power generator.
