The device has a receiving device for receiving information of a set of chemical substances, and a determination device for determining information of a risk preventive measure stage for a mixture of the chemical substances. The measure stage indicates the mixture to be used with consideration of the preventive measures. Another receiving device receives information about physical or chemical properties of one of the chemical substances and/or information about the use of the chemical substances. The determination device determines a danger stage based on the information of the latter device.
