<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated optical film that achieves high contrast while improving view angle property, suppresses a color shift, achieves excellent color reproducibility, and excellently prevents light leak at the time of black display, and also to provide a liquid crystal panel using the laminated optical film. <P>SOLUTION: The laminated optical film has a light polarizer, a first optical compensation layer, a second optical compensation layer, and a third optical compensation layer in this order. The first optical compensation layer has a refractive-index distribution of nx>nz>ny, and its in-plane phase difference is 50-300 nm. The second optical compensation layer has a refractive-index distribution of nx>ny=nz, and shows the characteristic in which its in-plane phase difference becomes smaller as the wavelength becomes shorter, and the in-plane phase difference is 100-180 nm. The third optical compensation layer has a refractive-index distribution of nx=ny>nz, its in-plane phase difference is 0-20 nm, and the phase difference in the thickness direction is 30-300 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
