PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray analyzer capable of adjusting the irradiation direction and detection direction of X rays with respect to a position to be measured with high precision in a case that the composition substance of a measuring target is measured and enhanced in weight reduction to be made excellent in portability. SOLUTION: A generator 2 and a detector 3 are separately moved by drive motors 27 and 37 respectively equipped with the pinions 27a and 37a meshed with a common rack 6. Further, the generator 2 and the detector 3 are respectively made movable in the irradiation direction and the detection direction. The guide rail 4 for guiding the movement of the generator 2 and the detector 3 are divided into three parts to be housed in the housing groove 4b formed to a base plate 5 to be fixed and the holding plate 5a fixed to the base plate 5 is brought into contact with the inside part of the guide rail 4 to prevent the deformation of the guide rail 4 caused by a temperature change or the like.
