PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head for a beverage container inspection which can perform the injection and the discharge of an inspection liquid into/from the inside of the beverage container without removing a fitting which is fitted on the mouthpiece of the beverage container. SOLUTION: This head 1 for the beverage container inspection is equipped with a main body 2, an injection tube 3 which is elevatably incorporated into the main body 2, a discharging passage 4 which is formed in a space between the internal side of the main body 2, and the external side of the injection tube 3, and a discharging valve 5 which opens/closes the discharging passage 4. In this case, the main body 2 is attached to a fitting 31 which is equipped with a gas injecting passage G and a beverage discharging passage D. By lowering the injection tube 3, the inspection liquid W can be poured into the beverage container B from the injection tube 3 through the beverage discharging passage D. At the same time, the inspection liquid W poured into the beverage container B can be discharged to the outside of the beverage container B from the discharging passage 4 through the gas injecting passage G.
