PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillar part structure of a vehicle capable of suppressing degradation of the proof stress to the compressive stress in an exterior wall and an interior wall in the vehicle width direction caused after the sectional deformation. SOLUTION: A cutout 30 is formed in a flange 14H of a center pillar 14 on a forward side of a vehicle, and a portion of a ridge part R1 having the cutout 30 formed therein forms a weakened portion 31. A cutout 32 is formed in a flange 14J of the center pillar 14 on a backward side of the vehicle, and a portion of a ridge part R2 having the cutout 32 formed therein forms a weakened portion 33. The cutout 30 is formed deeper below the line connecting weld centers of the flange 14H of the center pillar 14, and the cutout 32 is formed deeper below the line connecting weld centers of the flange 14J of the center pillar 14.
