PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle, and a method for determining abnormality therein capable of ensuring the safety by automatically detecting occurrence of any abnormal air-conditioning state in a cabin when air-conditioning the inside of the cabin while a driver gives no starting command of the vehicle. SOLUTION: A multiplication section 40 detects the power value Pb to be supplied from an electric storage device by multiplying the detected current value Ib by the detected voltage value Vb. A comparison section 42 compares the power value Pb with the preset thresholdα, and when the power value Pb exceeds the thresholdα, an abnormality signal FAL is emitted. A pre-air-conditioning condition determination section 44 invalidates the control signal SE when the abnormality signal FAL is given, and turns off a system relay. Then, the electric storage device is electrically separated from a driving unit and an air-conditioning unit. At the same time, the pre-air-conditioning condition determination section 44 invalidates the control command CHON to stop the voltage conversion operation (the voltage drop operation) in a DC/DC converter device.
