PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vessel propulsion device for controlling a steering mechanism and propeller to achieve intended vessel behavior. SOLUTION: While steering angles of outboard motors 4, 5, 7 are being changed, control (suppression) is performed by a scheduling part 33 so that output of the propeller of each of the outboard motors 4, 5, 7 becomes lower than target propulsion force. Thus, this can suppress the situation where propulsion force to an unintended direction by an operator is given to a hull before the steering angles reach target values and can achieve intended vessel behavior.
