PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delivery chain rail cleaning jig which can surely perform cleaning of delivery chain rails supporting a delivery chain at its top and bottom without difficult manual operations, and can be easily installed in a short time, and a method for using the jig. SOLUTION: The delivery chain rail cleaning jig 10 comprises a brush holder main body 12 having an engaging member 14 consisting of two mounting frames transversely installed on the oblong projecting face 12a at a lateral central part of the rear side of the main body, and upper and lower fittings 20 engaged with upper and lower base surfaces 12b of an oblong projecting part in parallel and each having a brush 22 on the rear side. The jig 10 is installed so that the engaging member 14 contacts a pair of the delivery chains 30, and the brush 22 the surfaces to be cleaned of the upper and lower delivery chain rails 32A, 32B.
