PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide superior bedding articles (pillows, pillow cover, sheets, carpets, bed pads, bed mats, mattresses, stuffed toys placed near a sleeping person, stonebags, ornaments, etc.), which ensure good sleep feeling and excellent humidity adjustment or ventilation in the bedding, and in addition, allow an atmosphere around bedding to bring promotion or maintenance of health, wherein these states can be maintained for a long period, in the bedding articles which are in contact with a human body for a long time. SOLUTION: The bedding articles has a state in which the whole or part of them has a humidity of≥60% RH depending on use conditions, and siliceous shale is used for a formation material.
