The injector has a nozzle needle (8) coupled with an actuator (10) and movable between a closing position and an opening position, in which a fuel loaded with high pressure is injected into a combustion chamber of an internal-combustion engine. A combustion chamber pressure surface limiting the combustion chamber is provided at the nozzle needle, where the pressure surface is loaded with a pressure obtained in the combustion chamber. The pressure surface is provided at a combustion chamber-proximate end of the nozzle needle.
