ASSEMBLY ELEMENT INCLUDING FORK SHAPED ELASTIC STRUCTURES AND TIMEPIECE INCLUDING THE SAME

An assembly element including fork shaped elastic structures and a timepiece including the same are provided to compensate a manufacture error in the diameter of an arbor used in the timepiece for driving hands of the timepiece after elastic deformation of a radial clearance of the elastic structure. An assembly element(18) includes a hole(32) through which an arbor(26) is inserted and an inner wall(33) of the hole including elastic structures(34). Each of the elastic structures has at least one support surface(36,38) for gripping the arbor in a radial direction to fix the assembly element to the arbor. Each of the elastic structures has two branches(42,44) extended to the arbor on both side surfaces of a bridge(40) of material and is formed by a fork connected to the inner wall of the hole by the bridge of the material. Each of the branches has the support surface adjacent to free end portions(46,48).
