PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution appropriately restricting the functions in accordance with the kinds of interfaces.

SOLUTION: A multi-functional machine 1 has a constitution equipped with a plurality of kinds of communication interfaces into which a command can be inputted from an external instrument. In addition, this multi-functional machine 1 has a propriety determining means for determining propriety for performing the function corresponding to the command among a plurality of the functions installed in an image forming apparatus from the kind of the communication interface into which the command is inputted, and a function controlling means for controlling performance of the function corresponding to the command from the content of determination by the propriety determining means.
