<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly fetch writing information for a projected image and to share it by a plurality of users. <P>SOLUTION: In an imaging mode, light emitted from a lamp 21 is changed to horizontal light by a condensing lens 22, totally reflected by a mirror 32, and reaches a half mirror 34. The 50% of the light from the mirror 32 is reflected by the half mirror 34, passes through a liquid crystal display panel 23 set to transmit all the colors, and reaches a projection lens 24. The 50% light projected by the projection lens 24 irradiates only writing by the user on a screen 12. The writing reaches the half mirror 34 through the projection lens 24 and the liquid crystal display panel 23 set to transmit all the colors, and the 50% thereof is transmitted to reach a CCD 35.
