PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement display method and device which make a guidance for measurement procedures diagrammatically, and can display also progress information representing up to what stage measurement operation has progressed, and a machine equipped with the measuring display device. SOLUTION: If "hole measurement" is instructed as the kind of measurement from a display section 45, when the center position of a hole of a work piece 7 is acquired with manual actuation by the use of a measurement head 3 in an NC machine tool 1, measurement operation processes for the hole measurement are displayed on the display section 45 by working of a measurement operation process controller 21. When a worker performs measurement operation being guided by arrows of the measurement operation processes, the colors of arrows for finished measurement operation processes change successively by working of a measurement result controller 31. The worker can learn which measurement operation process the worker should perform by the changes in color of the arrows. A calculation part 41 calculates the center position of the hole from measurement values of the coordinates of each position acquired at each measurement operation process, and sends its values out to the display section 45.
