PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner provided with a filter cleaning device capable of cleaning a filter while keeping it inside of a machine, and preventing dust from falling to a heat exchanger and a drain pan. SOLUTION: This air conditioner 100 comprising the filter cleaning device disposed in a housing 10 comprising a blower fan 20 for sucking the air from a top face side and blowing out the sucked air to a ground surface side, and the filter 40 for capturing the dust in the air, to clean the filter 40, further comprises a filter moving portion 60 for reciprocating the filter 40 along a circular arc-shaped moving passage in the housing 10, a dust removing portion kept into contact with the filter 40 for removing the dust captured by the filter 40, and a dust collecting portion 80 for collecting the dust removed by the dust removing portion, and a bag-shaped guide portion 110b as an auxiliary dust collecting portion for collecting the dust not collected in the dust collecting portion 80, is disposed at the ground surface side of the circular arc-shaped moving passage in the housing 10.
