PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic file management program and an electronic file management apparatus that provide an electronic file operation environment considering user operability. SOLUTION: When an electronic file is written to a managed storage area of an information storage part 1, a migration part 2 checks the free space of the managed storage area, and if the free space is not larger than a predetermined value, migrates an electronic file in the managed storage area selected by a selection part 4 to another storage area such as a storage part 8 or storage part 9, and a generation part 3 generates link information about the migrated electronic file. A display control part 7 displays the presence of electronic files stored in the managed storage area on a display part 5, and as for the electronic file migrated by the migration part 2, displays the presence of the migrated electronic file in the display position prior to the migration according to the link information.
