PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which is reduced in noise level by delaying the timings of generating impact noise of a plurality of sensor levers, thereby preventing the impact noise from being amplified. SOLUTION: The plurality of sensor levers detecting a recording material P are arranged at positions deviated from each other in the conveying direction of the recording material P, so that the timings of generating impact noise of the plurality of the sensor levers are delayed.
