PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display controller capable of improving an angular error caused by quantization, thereby controlling characters, graphics or the like so as to be displayed in high definition on a display device. SOLUTION: The display controller comprises: a step (S3010) of quantizing coordinates at both ends of one stroke and calculating the angular error caused by the quantization from inclination anglesθr,θq of a line part connecting the both ends before and after the quantization; a step (S3030) of further calculating the length of the line part after quantization; a step (S3050) of defining the side of both end points of the line part where a quantizing error is larger as a correction object point when the length of the line part exceeds 4 as the threshold and the angular error exceeds 4°as the threshold in the step (S3040); a step (S3060) of setting a correction candidacy point in accordance with the direction of an error vector relating to the correction object point; and steps (S3070, S3080) of, when there are a plurality of correction candidacy points, calculating the angular errors of the linear part connected with the other end point are calculated with respect to respective correction candidates and correcting the correction object point into the smallest correction candidacy point.
