PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily erase only a video part in video and sound recorded without intention. SOLUTION: A video characteristic detection circuit 28 of an abnormality photographing detection circuit 26 analyzes video data to detect whether a lens cap is attached. A ground photographing detection circuit 30 detects a ground photographing state. A recording and reproduction control circuit 32 controls a recording and reproduction circuit 14 so as to composite the video and sound and record the video and sound in a storage circuit 12 in a normal photographing state, and separate the video from the sound and record them in the storage circuit 12 in an abnormal photographing state according to detection results of the detection circuits 28 and 30.
