PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve S/N ratio by performing electron amplification when no noise is mixed. SOLUTION: A solid-state imaging device 10 includes an operation unit 12, a controller 14, a timing generator 16, an imaging driver 18, an imaging unit 20, an optical system driver 22, an optical system 24, an analog signal processor 26, an AD converter 28, a digital signal processor 30, a compression/expansion processor 32, a recorder 34, and a display unit 36, wherein the imaging driver 18 supplies readout pulses to the imaging unit 20 during exposure to read signal charges generated in single-time imaging divisionally a plurality of times.
