PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR gas recirculating device of an engine, without using an EGR pipe or using an EGR pipe having a short length. SOLUTION: This EGR gas recirculating device of the engine recirculates a part of exhaust gas exhausted from the exhaust side to the intake side, and is provided with an EGR gas outlet passage 10b opening upward from an exhaust port 32 of a cylinder head 1a and an EGR gas inlet passage 10a opening upward from an intake port 33. The EGR gas outlet passage 10b and an inlet passage 33a are communicated by a gas recirculating passage 10 formed in a valve arm chamber cover 31. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
