AN ORGANIC LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE

An organic light emitting device is provided to improve efficiency and color purity of red and/or green light by forming an auxiliary layer with different material from a hole injection layer. An organic light emitting device includes a substrate(10), a first electrode(12), a second electrode(28), and an organic layer. The organic layer is formed between the first and second electrodes and has a hole injection layer(16) and a light emitting layer. The light emitting layer has a red light emitting layer(22R), a green light emitting layer(22G), and a blue light emitting layer(22B). The organic light emitting device further includes at least one of a first auxiliary layer(18R) formed between the hole injection layer and the red light emitting layer to control a resonant period of red light and a second auxiliary layer formed between the hole injection layer and the green light emitting layer to control a resonant period of green light. The first and second auxiliary layers are made of different material from the hole injection layer.
