Provided is a satisfactory liquid container capable of preventing such a connectivity drop between a liquid extracting portion and a liquid feeding p ortion as might otherwise accompany the size enlargement of the container an d preventing the liquid drip at the liquid extracting portion. An ink cartri dge comprises a container body (5) mounted removably in a cartridge mounting portion for feeding the ink reserved in an ink pack (7) to an ink jet type recording device, a connecting port (7a) disposed in the ink pack (7) for ex tracting the ink, a liquid extracting portion (9) disposed in the front wall (5c) of the container body (5) for providing the communication of the liqui d feed portion disposed in the cartridge mounting portion, with the connecti ng port (7a), and two positioning holes (27, 28), in which positioning pins disposed at the two portions of the cartridge mounting portion confronted by the front wall (5c) are fitted, for regulating the movement in the directio n along the front wall (5c). The liquid extracting portion (9) is disposed a t a position near one positioning hole (27) of the two positioning holes (27 , 28) arranged individually on the two widthwise end sides of the front wall (5c). |
