METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DISPERSION OF CORE-SHELL TYPE METAL OXIDE FINE PARTICLE AND DISPERSION THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a dispersion of core-shell type metal oxide fine particles and the dispersion thereof. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a dispersion of core-shell metal oxide type fine particles has a process of mixing a metal salt and a polymer with an organic solvent to form a mixture and a process of heating and refluxing the mixture at a specified temperature so as to precipitate a metal oxide. The metal salt is a nitrate or an acetate, and the particle size of the core-shell type metal oxide fine particles is controlled by adjusting the molecular weight of the polymer. A dispersion of core-shell type metal oxide fine particles which is manufactured by the method does not cause precipitation even when left standing for a day or longer and the powder from the dispersion are also provided. The method enables the preparation and provision of a dispersion of a core-shell type metal oxide having a long-period stability. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
