PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin projector having a projection angle adjustment device without needing wide storage space. SOLUTION: The data projector is incorporated with a light source device 63 and a cooling fan. The light source device 63 is disposed in the front of the housing of the projector. A light source lower cover 12 located below the light source device 63 can be opened or closed around its rear end serving as a rotation axis. The light source lower cover 12 has approximately triangular side walls at both left and right ends of a cover main body, which is a rectangular thin plate. The light source lower cover 12 has an engagement part 23 in part of the side wall, and also an opening/closing device 15 having a member the leading end of which can be engaged with the engagement part 23.
