PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash which enables a top surface of a sill to be easily cleaned by removing a between-rails cover material without the need for the removal of a sliding screen. SOLUTION: The top surface of the sill 11 is formed in such a shape that an outdoor side is lower than an indoor side; a rising piece 30, an inner rail 31 and an outer rail 32 are formed in an orthostatic shape; a resin sill 35 is mounted along a longitudinal direction between the rising piece and the inner rail; a central airtight component 40 is mounted in a central portion between the inner and outer rails; the between-rails cover material 36 is mounted along a longitudinal direction on each of the right and left portions of the central airtight component; a top surface of the resin sill and that of the between-rails cover material constitute an apparent surface 14 with approximately the same height from the indoor side of the sill to the outdoor side thereof; and the between-rails cover material is split into right and left portions via a partition component 50 which is provided in the longitudinal intermediate position of the between-rails cover material and which can be freely attached to/detached from the sill.
