PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof board supporting implement which can prevent the generation of noises by allowing the expansion/contraction of a roof board, and which achieves a cost reduction, the prevention of a crack in a heat insulating member, etc. by minimizing the size of the synthetic-resin heat insulating member for being attached to a fixing member made of a metal, and forming the heat insulating member in a shape with no portion sandwiched by the fixing member. SOLUTION: In this roof board supporting implement 21, the heat insulating member 51 for cutting off vertical heat conduction is provided between a fixing bracket 31 for being fixed onto an underlayed roof 12, and a sliding bracket 41 capable of sliding in the longitudinal direction of the roof board while supporting the roof board. The fixing bracket 31 is composed of a plurality of bracket supports which comprises an auxiliary bracket support 34 engaged by vertical fitting so as to inhibit longitudinal relative displacement, and main bracket supports 32 and 33 engaged by horizontal fitting so as to inhibit vertical relative displacement. Parts, in which the heat insulating material is not interposed, of the bracket supports 32, 33 and 34 are fastened together, and the bracket supports 32, 33 and 34 are fixed to the heat insulating member 51.
