PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel estimate interpolation method for improving the accuracy of a channel estimate and a multicarrier receiver for improving receiving quality by using the method. SOLUTION: In the multicarrier receiver 100, an observation delay profile is generated by performing inverse Fourier transformation of a data string composed of channel estimates calculated from respective pilot symbols discretely arranged on a subcarrier in a frequency direction, a delay profile replica generating part 143 multiplies each complex amplitude of a path position detected from the observation delay profile by a path position selecting part 142 by a basic impulse signal generated by performing Fourier transformation of a data string composed of "1" values being as many as the number of subcarriers, and regenerates a delay profile by superimposing a multiplication result on a path position corresponding to each complex amplitude value, and a DFT (discrete Fourier transformation) 145 forms a channel estimate by performing Fourier transformation of the regenerated delay profile.
