<p>A light source unit in which display quality is prevented from deterioration due to bend of a diffuser. The light source unit comprises a diffuser (7) arranged on a light source (1), and a shading member (9) covering a lateral surface at the corner of the diffuser (7). Preferably, the shading member (9) covers the upper surface end and the lateral surface of the diffuser (7), or covers the upper surface end of an optical sheet (8) arranged on the diffuser (7) and the lateral surface of the optical sheet (8).</p> |
