The method involves displacing a crank (6) of an insertion lamella (1) into a cyma recta of a receiving lamella (2), and fixing the receiving lamella on an assembly table (7). The insertion lamella and the receiving lamella are provided in a non-coplanar position in the course of the displacement of the crank of the insertion lamella into the cyma recta of the receiving lamella such that an angle is formed between the insertion lamella and the receiving lamella, where the angle is deviated from 180 degree and is larger than 90 degree. An independent claim is also included for a machine for assembling lamellae of a rolling shutter or metal curtain for forming a rolling shutter casing.
