<p>In a first aspect the present invention relates to a pump system for separating solids from a liquid, comprising a pump (2) connected to a discharge pipe (10), the pump (2) being arranged to be located in a sump (3) and to inter- mittent create an outgoing liquid flow. Furthermore, the pump system comprises a plunger (11), which is arranged movable back and forth within said discharge pipe (10) and displaceable under the action of said outgoing liquid flow from a first position to a second position, said plunger (11) being arranged to transport solids that has been accu- mulated at a screen (14) to a discharge opening (16) when displaced from said first position to said second position. In a second aspect the invention relates to a discharge pipe for separating solids from a liquid, and in a third aspect the invention relates to a method for separating solids from a liquid.</p> |
