摘要 A system and a method for removal of odor generated in the sludge treating process are provided to eliminate odor of ammonia and various hydrocarbons generated during drying of sludge, and to increase energy efficiency by circulating flue gas heat of a regenerative catalytic oxidation reactor, thereby using the flue gas heat while drying the sludge. A system for removal of odor generated in the sludge treating process comprises: a drying part(1) for drying sludge that has been injected into the drying part to separate flue gas from the sludge; a molding part(2) for molding the dried sludge to discharge the molded sludge to the outside; a preheating part(3) for preheating flue gas that has been flown into the preheating part from the drying part; a regenerative catalytic oxidation reaction part(4) for separating and removing odor from the preheated flue gas; a condensation part(6) for removing water from the flue gas from which the odor has been separated; and a heat exchange part(5) for performing a heat exchange process using a temperature difference before and after treating the flue gas. The regenerative catalytic oxidation reaction part includes a catalytic layer chamber(b) in which a catalytic layer is formed, high and low temperature element chambers(a,c) which are formed in front and rear of the catalytic layer chamber, and which include regenerative elements therein, and three-way valves(d1,d2) for controlling the flow direction of flue gas in the regenerative catalytic oxidation reaction part.
