WATERLESS PLANOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE PRECURSOR

A precursor for waterless lithographic printing plates which can be inspe cted without the need of a post-dyeing step, can be handled in a light room, and has a silicone rubber layer having satisfactory dye fixation. The precu rsor for waterless lithographic printing plates comprises a base and layers formed thereon comprising a photosensitive or heat-sensitive layer and a sil icone rubber layer, and is characterized in that the silicone rubber layer c ontains a color pigment. By further incorporating a pigment dispersant compr ising an organic complex compound comprising at least one metal and an organ ic compound into the silicone rubber layer, a better effect is obtained. Whe n the organic complex compound contains aluminum and/or titanium as the meta l, an even better effect is obtained.
