A head wiping apparatus in a digital printer is provided to easily manage ink by storing the ink falling on a housing which is removable from a base. A head wiping apparatus in a digital printer includes a housing(110), a driving member(120), a driven member(130), a pair of chains(140), and a wiping part. The housing is mounted on a base where a head is initially positioned and stores ink falling from the head. The driving member supports the housing and is positioned on both edges beside a rotary shaft. The rotary shaft rotates powered by a driving motor. The driven member is formed on both edges of a sub rotary shaft. The pair of chains connect the driving and driven members and rotate as by the driving motor is driven. The wiping part is connected with the driving member and rotates to wipe the lower part of the head.
