<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire information from a code by an mCn method representing information by the selection of n (1≤n<m) areas from m (m≥3) areas, even if the m and n values are unknown. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises an image reading part 21 for reading an image, a noise removal part 22 for removing noise from the image, a dot image detection part 23 for detecting dots in the image, a dot array generation part 24 for generating a dot array storing dot presence/absence in dot positions and deciding m and n from the dot density of the image and mCn dot densities, a block detection part 25 for detecting blocks on the dot array and deciding m from the size of the blocks and n from the number of dots under a minimum dot variance, a synchronization code detection part 26 for detecting a synchronization code by the mCn method, an identification information acquisition part 27 for acquiring identification information by the mCn method, and a position information acquisition part 28 for acquiring position information by the mCn method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
