<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for manufacturing a hot-rolled steel strip which eliminate temperature error (supercooling) generated on a steel strip on a run out table and thereby enable the steel strip to be coiled at uniform temperature in the longitudinal direction. <P>SOLUTION: For the hot-rolled steel strip 10 which is cooled with cooling units 3 above the run out table by using down coiler equipment 1 provided with heating devices 2, 2a, 2b, temperature difference from target coiling temperature is measured with a before-coiling thermometer 4 and the hot-rolled steel strip is coiled with a down coiler 6 while heating the steel strip 10 by using the heating devices 2, 2a, 2b so as to compensate the temperature difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
