<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a battery that realizes a higher capacity and that is equipped with an electrode body made by properly winding the electrode plates. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the battery, equipped with a wound-around electrode body made by being wound around positive and negative strip electrode plates pinching a separator, comprises a processing step of carrying out bending process on an expected winding end part, in the length direction of at least one of the electrode plates from among the positive and negative plates, before winding it around of the electrode bodies, and a winding around step of winding around the bent part, with its tip end in a state of being directed inward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
