PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved pressure piece satisfactorily usable as a servo-synchronization pressure piece as an alternate, and further to provide a perfect synchronization unit and a method for using the unit in a transmission synchronization system. SOLUTION: The synchronization pressure piece 50 for a transmission synchronization device 1 for a free gear 29 using a shift sleeve, particularly, a synchronization pressure piece for a gear shift transmission including an automotive manual shift transmission is a servo-synchronization pressure piece 50. The synchronization piece is movable by tilt motions S and W, and has a finger-like or I-shaped form. The synchronization pressure piece includes a central longitudinal area 71 extendable in an output direction R of the transmission shaft 31 over the width B of a hub 27 of the shaft 31.
