DRAIN CONNECTION DEVICE FOR AIR CONDITIONER

A drain connection device enhancing work efficiency in drain hose connection work. This is achieved by improving work efficiency in connecting the drain hose to a connection tube part for draining water from a drain pan, preventing water leakage after the connection, and making the drain hose not easily come out during the connecting operation. Projections (21 to 24) are formed on the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical sleeve (20) loosely fitted in the cylindrical connection part (10) of the drain hose (4). When the drain hose (4) is pulled with the connection tube part (3) press-fitted in the sleeve (20), the projection surface (15) of the drain hose (4) at the forward end of the connection part (10) is in contact with the forward end surface of the projection (21) of the sleeve (20). The inner peripheral surface of the connection part (10) and the outer peripheral surface of the projection (21) receive surface pressure, and projection surface (15) at the forward end of the connection part (10) is in intimate contact with the forward end surface of the sleeve (20) on the projection (21) side. Thus, the projection surface (15) seals the projection (21) of the sleeve (20).
