A standing up type small bicycle for exercise is provided to easily ascend a slope way by driving with the whole body and to stably ride in a standing up state by having a wide plate pedal. A standing up type small bicycle for exercise includes front and rear wheels(14,22), a handle post(26), a handle(10), a support frame(20), a driving shaft(36), driving and driven sprocket wheels(30,34), and a pair of plate pedals(50). The handle post is connected to a shaft(12) of the front wheel. The handle is installed to an upper end of the handle post. The support frame is horizontally connected between the handle post and the rear wheel. The driving shaft is rotatably connected to a center part of the support frame. The driving sprocket wheel is installed at one side of the driving shaft. The driven sprocket wheel is fixed to a hub unit mounted at a center part of the rear wheel. A chain(32) connects the driving and driven sprocket wheels. One sides of the plate pedals are connected to driving shaft pedal arms(52) mounted at both sides of the driving shaft. The other sides of the plate pedals are connected to driven shaft pedal arms(54) mounted at the hub unit of the rear wheel. |
