A plasma display panel is provided to shorten a reset period and to reduce a discharge delay time by exposing a part of address electrode to a discharge space. A front substrate(15) is positioned opposite to a rear substrate(10). A plurality of address electrodes(11) are extended in a first direction corresponding to discharge cells(19) on the rear substrate. A barrier rib(13) is formed between the front substrate and the rear substrate in order to form discharge spaces by defining discharge cells. A display electrode(16) is extended in a second direction crossing the first direction on the front substrate. A phosphor layer(14) is formed within each of the discharge cells. The address electrode is partially exposed in the discharge spaces of the discharge cells.
