FORMING METHOD OF POROUS PTFE LAYER, AND POROUS PTFE LAYER AND MOLDED ARTICLE PREPARED BY THIS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming method of a porous PTFE layer which is suitably used for simply forming the porous PTFE layer without the occurrence of wrinkles or deformation on the surface, and easily makes the adjustment of property of gas permeation amount or the like.

SOLUTION: The forming method of the porous PTFE layer comprises steps of: (1) combining a non-calcined porous PTFE film of one or two sheets and a support body (a rod shaped or plate shaped support body made of meshes or the like is preferable) withstanding the heating condition in the flowing step (2) so that slip is not generated in heating of the following step (2) using a predetermined means; and (2) heating the result of the step (1) at 150°C or more, and the temperature below a melting point of the PTFE film for 5 to 120 min (when the thermoplastic resin fiber or the like is used in the step (1), preferably at the temperature from the melting point to 320°C for 10 to 60 min).
