<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily change a moving velocity of an object during a mouse operation for moving the object to be displayed on a display. <P>SOLUTION: Movement distances in the X-axial direction and the Y-axial direction of the body of an optical mouse 100 are measured. A distortion gauge 107 is arranged on the surface of the body of the optical mouse 100 which faces a desk upper surface so as to detect the magnitude of a pressure force in a Z-axial direction with respect to the desk upper surface. The moving velocity of the object displayed on the display is calculated according to the movement distances per unit time and the magnitude of the pressure force in the Z-axial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
