<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual paper-feeding device having a loading surface installable at a position higher than a user's eyes, capable of simplifying mounting procedures such as supplying or setting recording sheets at low cost without requiring special configuration, and equipped with a configuration in which mounting work on the loading surface positioned higher than the eyes could be easily performed at a position lower than the loading surface. <P>SOLUTION: The paper-feeding device is equipped with a manual paper feeding tray 101 capable of exposing the loading surface of the recording sheets to the outside by designing a part of a side wall to be raised/lowered or to be drawn, and the loading surface side of the manual paper feeding tray 101 is provided with side fences 102, 103 for sorting side edges of the recording sheets.
