PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hat steel sheet pile having a spacing part and a method of stacking hat steel sheet piles. SOLUTION: In this hat steel sheet pile 2 of a hat shape in cross section, a pair of flange parts 4 are formed continuously with both ends of a web part 3, an arm part 5 is formed continuously with the other end of the flange part 4, and a joint part 6 is formed at the end of the arm part 5. The steel sheet pile is manufactured by hot rolling. The spacing parts 8 for stacking each formed of one or both of a plate member 21, a bar member 20, or a section steel member and a weld bead 22 are intermittently or continuously formed on the hat steel sheet pile 2 in the longitudinal direction at least one or more positions among three positions; the web part 3, the flange part 4, and the arm part 5.
