PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical device of which the optically effective gross area in comparison with the whole area is large and the light quantity loss is small. SOLUTION: The production apparatus 10 of the optical device includes a pair of an upper die 12 and a lower die 14 separately placed up and down and facing to each other, an upper heat transfer plate 16 and a lower heat transfer plate 18 for heating the upper die 12 and the lower die 14, and an air cylinder 20 for moving the upper die 12 toward the lower die 14.
