PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood structure for a vehicle sufficiently absorbing impact given to an object to be collided at collision with the object to be collided. SOLUTION: In the hood structure 1, length from a first flange 30A of a hood reinforcement panel 30 to a second flange 30B is adjusted to line length of an inner panel 20 from a first joint portion 20A of the inner panel 20 where the first flange 30A is joined to a second joint portion 20B of the inner panel 20 where a second flange 30B is joined. When load is applied from the outer side of the vehicle to a periphery of an area of an outer panel opposed to a front skeleton part, the outer panel is deformed and abutted on the hood reinforcement panel, and the outer panel and the hood reinforcement panel are further deformed to the inner panel side by the load to absorb the load.
